Depending on your state of residence (including under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to appeal a decision on such a request. We do not sell your personal information.

Email & marketing preferences

You can opt out of marketing email at any time from the unsubscribe link in any message, or from your account settings. Note that we may still send transactional messages (receipts, password resets, certificate delivery) required to operate your account.

Submit a data-rights request

Email spetterson@ofals.org with the subject line “Privacy Request” and include:

• The type of request (access, correction, or deletion).
• The email address associated with your account (for identity verification).
• Your state of residence.

We will verify your identity and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. For details on what we collect and why, see our Privacy Policy.

Note: some CME participation and credit records must be retained long-term to meet ACCME and certifying- and licensing-board audit obligations, and may be exempt from deletion. Data-rights requests are handled manually by our team.
