Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 2026
The Orthopaedic Foundation Learning Academy (OFLA) is committed to making its learning platform accessible to all healthcare professionals, including those with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
Measures we take
- Semantic HTML, labeled form controls, and keyboard-operable navigation.
- Text alternatives for images and captions/transcripts for course videos.
- Ongoing review of color contrast and screen-reader compatibility.
Known limitations
We are actively improving areas including video caption coverage, consistent status announcements for assistive technology, and contrast on secondary text. If you encounter a barrier, please tell us so we can prioritize a fix.
Requesting accommodations
If you need content in an alternative format or assistance completing a course, contact us at spetterson@ofals.org. We will respond promptly and work with you to provide access to the material.
A Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT/ACR) is available on request for institutional and procurement review.
